In this video, join me (Tim) on a beautiful summer’s day in Victoria as I review the Varla Eagle One Mark II. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Varla for being the first company to send me one of their beautiful scooters when I had just started my channel and had no subscribers. They took a leap of faith with me, and I’m forever grateful.
The Varla Eagle One Mark II is a beast! With its twin 1000 watt Motors, it effortlessly accelerates up hills, including the challenging “hill of death.” The 20.8 amp hour 52-volt system offers a slightly improved range and top speed, reaching approximately 40 miles per hour.
One standout feature is the dual suspension, which soaks up bumps and potholes, providing a smooth ride even in busy traffic. As a bigger guy, I appreciate the 330-pound weight limit, which is more than I weigh. This scooter is an absolute delight to ride.
We took the Eagle One Mark II off-roading, and it proved to be quite capable with its 10-inch, 3-inch wide tires and suspension. Whether it’s trails or steep moments, this scooter handles it all with ease.
The scooter’s height, wide handlebars, and stiff steering make it incredibly comfortable and stable during rides. The three and a half inch display offers clear information on different riding modes, battery percentage, and trip stats.
Folding the scooter is straightforward, though the handlebars don’t fold, which might make storage in the back of a car a bit challenging. However, its weight of 82 pounds allows for easy transportation in a trunk or SUV.
I have to say, there’s not much I don’t like about this scooter. It provides powerful acceleration, smooth braking with hydraulic brakes, and a fantastic overall riding experience.
In this video, my cameraman Jamie also shares his initial thoughts after a short ride. He praises the extended handlebars, comfortable height, sturdy build quality, ample deck space, and the convenient placement of the charge ports.
Stay tuned for future videos as Jamie takes the scooter for some Doordash deliveries, and I conduct a range test to see just how far this scooter can go with its impressive 20.8 amp hour battery.
And hey, don’t forget to check out the cool deck tape designs on the Varla scooters—definitely a fun touch!
So, if you’re in the market for a powerful and comfortable electric scooter, the Varla Eagle One Mark II gets a big thumbs up from me! Join us on this exciting adventure and make sure to subscribe to my channel for more awesome reviews.
