In 2021 I voted the Uscooter GT SE as “The Best Electric Scooter Commuter” for short commuting. It was lightweight, folded up small and quick with a lovely ride on solid tires which is impressive. Usually solid tires means a rough ride but the suspension ate up the cracks. This year Uscooters released the UScooter GT Sport and they made it even better. They made some changes to the controller which made it a little bit faster and a little bit more efficient which means a longer range. There are other updates, like the suspension that make the experience even better than the previous model. Will it be the best commuter of 2022? Only time and testing will tell. I’ll be using it as a daily scooter to rack up the miles and will report later in the year.
